LATAM group have partnered up with Warner Bros. Discovery Latin America to bring an exclusive Harry Potter-themed experience to its flights. The collaboration, launched November 12 and running for 12 months, will offer a one-of-a-kind proposal that combines aviation, entertainment and nostalgia, inviting passengers to step into a wizarding-themed journey inspired by the world’s most iconic film series.

A Hint of Magic in the Skies

It’s a first for the region’s aviation sector, blending air travel with the magic of Harry Potter in a series of special aircraft, in-flight features, and fan activations.

As part of the partnership, LATAM unveiled a Boeing 787-9 and an Airbus A320 featuring special decal designs with emblematic illustrations from the Harry Potter films.

Both aircraft will operate on domestic and international routes, a magical spectacle for both travellers and those spotting them at airports across the Latin America region.

A Celebration of Storytelling, Travel and Magic

The partnership coincides with the 25th anniversary of the film Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (or Sorcerer’s Stone in some countries) in 2026. Passengers will have the chance to immerse themselves in the wizarding-theme onboard experiences on selected flights and celebrate an iconic film series that resonates across generations. These included cabin visuals, collectables, and catering inspired by the world of Harry Potter.

Paulo Miranda, Vice President of Customers at LATAM Airlines Group, has said:

“Harry Potter is a story that has marked generations around the world. We are very excited to present this alliance, which transforms the flying experience into a unique and memorable journey for our customers. At LATAM, we aim to connect people not just with destinations, but also with the stories that inspire them.”

Pablo Greco, Vice President of Ad Sales for the Andean Region at Warner Bros. Discovery, stated:

“Seeing global icon like Harry Potter alongside LATAM fills us with excitement. At Warner Bros. Discovery, we are constantly seeking creative ways to integrate our franchises into everyday experiences and delight fans in new and unexpected ways. This project, created and produced in Chile and now expanding regionally, demonstrates the potential of our brands to foster deep and meaningful connections in innovative settings.”

Central to this initiative is LATAM Play, the airline group’s onboard entertainment network, which is available on all LATAM flights and includes the full Harry Potter film saga. On wide-body aircraft, the films will be displayed on individual seat screens, while on narrow-body aircraft, the films can be accessed via personal devices connected to play.latam.com.
