IndiGo launches direct flight between Mumbai and Adampur in Punjab

IndiGo has announced a strategic step in their plans, connecting Mumbai and Adampur. Adampur is a town in the state of Punjab. IndiGo stated that connecting Punjab and Mumbai unlocks the potential for growth in the state, especially in the industrial and agricultural sectors.

Flight Schedule

As one of India’s fastest growing carriers, IndiGo continues to expand its network. With a fleet of over 400, the airline operates several daily flights connecting more than 90 domestic and over 40 international destinations.

Below is the flight schedule for Mumbai and Adampur. Customers looking to book the flight can do so via IndiGo’s website. The flight will operate daily, departing Mumbai 12:55 p.m. and arriving at Adampur 15:15 p.m. and Adampur to Mumbai departs at 15:50 p.m. and arrives at 18:30 p.m. The flight numbers are 6E 5931 from Mumbai and 6E 5932 from Adampur.

About Adampur and Mumbai

Located in the Jalandhar district of Punjab, Adampur is known for housing one of the oldest airbases in the country, the Adampur Air Force Station. It’s also known for its rich cultural heritage. The town is near various attractions that showcase Punjabi culture. One such place is the popular spiritual site in Jalandhar called Devi Talab Mandir and another spot is the Pushpa Gujral Science City, providing educational experiences. Additionally, tourists can visit the theme park, Wonderland Jalandhar for family outings.

Mumbai, formerly Bombay, is the financial capital of India. The city is located on the west coast of India and is the heart of Hindi film industry (Bollywood). Mumbai also has countless attractions, including commerce, fashion, and entertainment. The city features modern skyscrapers and diverse culture. It is one of India’s economic powerhouses, attracting several migrants seeking opportunities.
