Iberia Airlines continues to increase the frequency of its flights. With 3.2 million seats, 4% more than in 2024, the airline is set to offer a record number of seats throughout its global network.

Iberia Strengthens its Dominance in Latin America

Flying to 18 destinations in 16 countries, Iberia continues to increase its presence in the Europe-Latin America market. The airline will fly more than 300 times a week between the two regions in the 2025 summer season, increasing the frequency on its most popular routes, such as Buenos Aires and São Paulo.

Three more weekly flights will be added to Buenos Aires and São Paulo, bringing the total to 21 and 14, respectively. Starting from May onwards, Iberia will also double the number of flights to and from Lima. Mexico City and Bogotá will continue to have three daily flights, showing Iberia’s commitment to these important hubs.

Increasing from 10 weekly flights this summer season, Iberia will operate 11 weekly flights to Santiago de Chile from June. Rio de Janeiro will maintain 5 weekly frequencies; meanwhile, Montevideo and Quito will continue to have daily flights. Caracas will have between three and five flights per week depending on the month, while Guayaquil will maintain its three weekly flight frequencies. Iberia Airlines will continue its daily flights to Puerto Rico, Santo Domingo, Guatemala, San Salvador, and Costa Rica. Additionally, Panama will have up to four weekly flights, while Havana will have three.

Iberia Boosts U.S., Asia, and European Connections for Summer 2025

During the summer season of 2025, Iberia will operate 140 weekly flights connecting Spain and the United States, offering a total of 1.1 million seats- a 14% increase compared to the previous year.

Iberia offers 1-2 daily flights to New York, Chicago, Miami, Dallas Forth Worth, Los Angeles, San Francisco (3 weekly flights), Boston, and Washington. This summer, both Boston and Washington are set to see significant growth. The airline will double its 2024 offering from one to two daily flights to Boston starting in June, while weekly frequencies to Washington will rise from 4 to 7. The new A321XLR aircraft, a narrow-body model capable of crossing the Atlantic, will operate both destinations. The addition of the new A321XLRs in the upcoming months will strengthen Iberia’s dedication to the United States.

In the Asia region, Iberia will continue to maintain its three weekly flights to Tokyo, providing a total of 63,000 seats for the season. One direct daily flight between Madrid and Doha as well as two code-share flights with Qatar Airways will continue next summer, allowing three daily flights between Madrid and Doha. This route connects Doha to 49 Asian, 17 African, 18 Middle Eastern, and 6 destinations in Oceania and allows easier point-to-point travel.

In Europe, Iberia will grow its primary markets, particularly France and Italy. Paris will add four weekly frequencies, offering 11 daily flights this summer. Rome will also add five frequencies per week, offering six to seven daily flights. Brussels and Vienna will gain two weekly frequencies for up to four direct flights per day.

Finally, seasonal routes will continue to operate, including Ljubljana, Tirana, Ponta Delgada, Porto, Lisbon, Funchal, Faro, Croatia, and the Greek islands.

With more destinations, flight frequencies, and strategic expansions, Iberia continues to enhance its global footprint.
