The company of Manama continues the renewal of its fleet. Gulf Air has become a new operating company of the Airbus A320neo family with a first model delivered on August 18 in Toulouse.

The device was put into commercial service the next day. It will now serve regularly Dubai, Larnaca, Athens, Kuwait and Beirut.

This is the fourth new aircraft delivered to the Bahrain company since the beginning of the year with the company receiving it’s first three Boeing 787-9 since April.

But above all, Gulf Air expects 11 more A320neo and 17 Airbus A321neo; This will certainly enlarge a formerly small fleet to a large one!

Historically, Gulf Air was the first Gulf airline to operate with the A320 family starting services in 1992.
