In celebration of world renowned football team AC Milan’s 125th anniversary, Emirates have revealed a livery of themed aircraft. Emirates is the Official Airline Partner and Principal Partner of the Rossoneri, and therefore have adorned their fleet in celebration of their partners’ milestone.

Aircraft Embellishments

Emirates’ Airbus A380 livery has been fully retrofitted with these new designs. Both sides of the airplanes’ fuselages have been decorated with vibrant red and black stripes, as well as with the Club’s official crest. On the crest is the founding date of AC Milan, 1899, and shows testament to their 125 years. A silhouette of a player kicking a ball midair is also emblazoned on the fuselage. In bold red colours, these embellishments will complement the already existing design of the United Arab Emirates flag, positioned on the tail fin of the A380.

AC Milan

The Rossoneri (meaning red and black) have become distinctively recognized for their red and black striped uniform. A world leading football team, they have accrued more than 500 million fans worldwide. Sponsored by Emirates since 2007, their famous uniform also dons the Emirates logo, the two groups becoming synonymous with one another.

AC Milan was founded in 1899 in Milan, Italy and has paved the way in global sports. With 7 champions league titles, it currently stands as one of the most famous and wealthy football teams in the world. Emirates‘ specially designed livery stands as a tribute to AC Milan and its monumental 125th anniversary. These themed aircraft will be available to view all over the world, but most commonly will be found at Emirates base airport in Dubai.

Are you excited to see these new themed aircraft? Let us know in the comments down below.
