Emirates has revealed two new routes across East Asia via Bangkok. With the ability to fly to Da Nang, Vietnam, and Siem Reap, Cambodia, the airline is continuing its efforts to deepen connectivity across the South Asian regions.

Smooth Flying to Vietnam or Cambodia With New Routes
The inaugural flights were celebrated on June 2nd and 3rd with water cannon salutes and attended by Government delegates and airport officials. Through these routes, customers can reach Dubai, Bangkok, and either Da Nang or Siem Reap with a single ticket. Routes will operate by a Boeing 777-300ER equipped with the airline’s award-winning services. Officials for the airline recognise these brand new routes as reinforcing their “long-standing commitment to Thailand as a strategic gateway to the region.”

Boosting Tourism Across East Asia
As their third path into Vietnam, this new route provides a vital link for high-value cargo such as electronics being transported across the globe. In partnership with Sun Group and Vietnam Airlines, the airline is promoting inbound tourism with 25 weekly flights. Siem Reap’s addition will mark 10 weekly flights to Cambodia, timed to serve leisure travellers and continue to open opportunities for cultural and business exchanges. The debut flights were celebrated with a cake-cutting ceremony, taking place in the newly renovated Emirates lounge in Dubai.

Emirates is aligning with the demand for tourists and embracing partnerships across East Asia to boost inbound tourism. Explore these routes to find your new perfect summer getaway.
