Strengthened Relationships

Offering immersive technological experiences and support from ground teams, the store is set to strengthen the long-standing relationship between Emirates and Mauritius, in which the airline has been operating since 2002.

Speaking of the opening, Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer at Emirates said:

We have been operating in Mauritius for 23 years, and launching our travel store demonstrates our commitment to growing our presence on the island nation[…]This store will enable Mauritian travellers to experience the essence of Emirates before they even begin their journey.

Echoing these sentiments, Mauritius’ Minister of Tourism, The Honourable Richard Duval added:

We are delighted to renew and further strengthen our valued partnership with Emirates – a relationship that has played a pivotal role in positioning Mauritius as a world-class tourism destination.

As well as giving customers the chance to experience in-flight products, the new travel store also has trained staff on hand to provide passengers with individualised assistance.

Self-service kiosks and a selfie mirror, which lets customers take photos against backdrops of Emirates’ destinations, are also featured in-store, along with merchandise and travel accessories.
