Ipanema 203 Takes Centre Stage with a Vision for the Future

With the theme “A look to the future,” Embraer will exhibit the Ipanema 203, which is the top-selling crop duster in the Brazilian agricultural aviation market, during the event.

It has over 20 years of operation, powered by 100% ethanol. It combines technology with robustness, delivers high productivity with precision, and also maintains low operational costs.

In addition to exhibiting Ipanema 203, the company is also aiming to promote operational safety on the occasion, focusing on topics including preventive inspections, a safe environment, and good practices for pilots, mechanics and operators.

Boosting Agricultural Efficiency with Ethanol-Powered Aviation

The power of the ethanol-powered aircraft is equivalent to four large ground sprayers operating at the same time. It can spray more than 200 hectares every hour without needing the soil or spread pests by contact, generating a result for the field of up to 15 bags more per hectare.

Sany Onofre, Embraer’s Agricultural Aviation leader, said:

“The Brazilian Agricultural Aviation Congress, promoted by the National Union of Agricultural Aviation Companies (SINDAG), is a great opportunity for us to promote the news and trends in our sector. Producers are increasingly looking for solutions that bring productivity, lower production costs, and ensure operational safety.”
