Embraer’s Earnings on the Rise

The main highlight of Embraer’s report is its revenue; in the first quarter of 2025, its revenue totaled US$1.1 billion (£827.2 million), making Q1 of 2025 not only the best first quarter since 2016, but it also marks an increase of 23% since the first quarter of 2024. Another important statistic in the report was its delivery of aircraft Embraer delivered 30 jets in Q1 of 2025, of which 7 were commercial jets and 23 were executive jets.

This is an increase of 20% from the 25 aircraft it delivered in the first quarter of the previous year. From its US$1.1 billion in reported revenue in Q1 2025, one of Embraer’s biggest increases was its revenue from Defence and Security, which increased by 72% from the same period last year, resulting in US$139 million (£104.2 million) of revenue for the company in this sector. Out of the 10 aircraft Embraer delivered for Defence and Security in 2025 so far, 7 were for the Brazilian Air Force, 2 were for the Portuguese Air Force and 1 was delivered to the Hungarian Air Force Another US$202 million (£150.9 million) of Embraer’s earnings this quarter came from Commercial Aviation. ANA (All Nippon Airways) has placed an order with Embraer for 15 E190-E2 aircraft, which is likely to be included in the reports for the next quarter.

Another key metric Embraer highlighted in their report was EBIT (Earnings Before Interest and Taxes). For the first quarter of 2025, Embraer’s adjusted EBIT was US$62 million (£46.4 million), with a positive profit margin of 5.6%, an increase of 4.8% from the same period in 2024.
