Cirium recently collected data between January 1 and June 30, 2025 to analyse direct scheduled flights from UK airports to global countries. Cirium’s analysis revealed the top destinations where Brits are most likely to face flight delays.

Cirium’s analysis

According to Cirium’s analysis of the data collected from the UK, the countries within Europe with the highest percentage of delayed flights in the first half of 2025 were Greece, Faroe Islands, and Bulgaria.

In contrast, the flights to Denmark, Norway, and Iceland secured the top positions with the highest percentage of on-time flights from UK airports.

Flight performance from UK to Global destinations

Moving from Europe and looking at more global destinations, the countries with the highest chance of delayed flights were Algeria, Pakistan, and Ghana.

Ethiopia, Malaysia, and Colombia were the countries with the highest chance of being on time.
