On December 23, 2025, Pegasus Airlines was announced as the Official Airline Partner of the famous football club, Chelsea FC. This partnership marks a beginning for both the organisations committed to global growth and connection via football or travel.

Why Pegasus Airlines?

After operating for more than two decades, today, Pegasus Airlines serves 158 destinations in 55 countries. Its global expansion is defining a new chapter in Pegasus Airlines’ history as it places an order of 200 new aircraft, together with its recent agreement to acquire Czech Airlines and its subsidiary, Smartwings.

With Pegasus’ continued expansion across borders, Chelsea FC will collaborate to deliver innovative campaigns and experiences for its global supporters and customers.

This partnership will harness the strength of Chelsea FC’s global footprint and worldwide fanbase to showcase Pegasus Airlines as it continues its expansion. Together, the two organisations will collaborate across key international markets, delivering innovative campaigns and experiences for supporters and customers around the world.

Working across key international markets, Oliver Boden, partnership sales director for Chelsea Football Club, said:

The expansion of their fleet underlines the scale of their aspirations. Marking United Kingdom as an important market for Pegasus Airlines, Onur Dedeköylü, chief commercial Officer of Pegasus Airlines, said:

The United Kingdom is also an important market for us, with services to five destinations and further growth planned. This partnership brings together two brands driven by ambition, energy and connection, and we look forward to working with Chelsea FC to create special campaigns and meaningful experiences for supporters and travellers alike.”

Previous sponsorships

Earlier in 2023, Oman Air was the Official Airline Partner of Chelsea FC. The multi-year partnership ended in less than a year, with no declarations from either party on the termination of this deal. The $2.5 million-a-year airline partnership deal was to coincide with Omani flag carrier’s 30th anniversary, and was airline’s first-ever Premier League club partnership.
