Cathay Group Appoint Guy Bradley as New Chair Of Board

After his respected service spanning over three decades at the Cathay Group, Patrick Healey will retire from both of his positions as Chair of Board with Cathay Group and Swire Group in 2026.

Guy Bradley will commence his role, taking over from his successor, effective May 2026. He has a globally distinguished career with Swire Group since 1987, holding senior leadership positions across Asia, USA, the Middle East and other valuable markets.

Reflecting on Healey’s tenure as Chair, Bradley celebrated his commitment and determination to make the group as successful as it is.

“Pat has demonstrated unwavering commitment and leadership throughout his six years as Chair, especially during the pandemic. During his tenure, Cathay Pacific has reinforced its reputation as one of the world’s best airlines, and the Cathay Group has returned to pre-pandemic passenger flight capacity while expanding its network to more than 100 destinations,” said Bradley.

Healey also comments on his three-decade service, and six-year role as Chair of Board, commenting on his unwavering privilege to be a solid foundation of the group’s success.

“It has been a privilege to chair the Cathay Group for the last six years, working alongside a passionate, committed team who have shown immense resilience through one of the most challenging periods in our 80-year history. I also thank our customers for their unstinting loyalty. Cathay is in a unique position, with our deep roots in Hong Kong, being proudly part of China and connecting Hong Kong to the world,” Healey shared.
