Brussels Airlines is set to enhance the on-board passenger experience across both short-haul and long-haul flights. The Loft, the award-winning lounge in Brussels, will benefit from a complete renovation, while free, high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi will be available for all passengers.
Elevated Premium Economy

The most significant investment goes to Premium Economy on long-haul flights. Improved pre-landing meals, new premium chinaware, an enhanced starter, paper menu cards and upgraded headphones for the in-flight entertainment are all in sight for the remainder of 2026, with the new tableware launching as of this March.
Commenting on the boosted products and future passenger experience, Thibaut Dewilde, Head of Inflight Product at Brussels Airlines, said:
“Brussels Airlines is on a journey to overhaul the entire passenger experience. From big and bold investments, like Wi-Fi, new cabins and a renovated lounge, to smaller enhancements like improved menus and tableware, passengers will feel our dedication to their travel experience across all touchpoints. Our aim is to create a boutique hotel in the air and on the ground, and these investments reflect exactly that.”
A Revamped Business Class

Besides premium economy, the airline is also targeting its soft product, the business class. Double Michelin-starred chef Glen Verhasselt has been called upon to craft a unique culinary experience, promoting the best of Belgian cuisine. Since 2026, flights departing from African destinations will now feature African-inspired dishes, such as Cape Malay braised chicken with cashew nuts, mango, and coriander.
