British Airways announce their recent launch of a new lounge design partnered with global architecture and design firm Gensler which will feature in brand-new opening of new locations; Dubai and Miami following a £7 billion transformation.
British Airways announces new lounge design across various locations
BA launch their new lounge design concept across several locations including current London Gatwick, and two new exciting destinations in Miami International Airport and Dubai International Airport.
Partnered with design and architecture firm Gensler, the two companies have tediously combined premium spaces and art-deco to provide luxurious and comforting areas for the flag-carrier’s lounges.
British Airway’s Chief Customer Officer, Calum Laming, shares:
“We’re proud to bring our brand to life in these spaces, having blended our British originality with each destination’s unique character. This approach has allowed us to make the most of brilliant talents from around the world. We’re grateful to all the teams, both within British Airways and our partners, who’ve helped make our vision a reality. We are incredibly excited to welcome our customers to these new lounges.”
Bringing art-deco to premium lounges in Dubai and Miami
British Airways announce their work with Gensler to create premium spaces, the lounges will offer five distinctive zones with individual spaces to make travel comfort and seamless for those travelling individually.
A main lounge space with luxurious full-service bar and the experience of hand-crafted beverages from trained bartenders will be a feature of the new lounges designed by Gensler and British Airways.
A deluxe dining experience will also be accessible to guests travelling in first class in the exclusive Concorde Dining Room. State-of-the-art dishes such as Wagyu beef strip loin will be available to make travel fulfilling.
Blending British and Middle Eastern design to Dubai Airport, spaces will include artisanal design in all spaces including British fabrics in the lounge and middle eastern ceramic tiles to the washroom, bringing a comforting feeling to travel. Exclusive dishes which blend Middle Eastern flavours and British classics will be available, allowing customers to immerse themselves in a fusion of cultures.
