Bark Air, the world’s first luxury airline exclusively designed for dogs, is revolutionising pet-friendly travel. With unparalleled pup pampering, from spa treatments to canine-friendly amenities and toy-filled lounges, Bark Air offers a sky-high retreat with routes operating from New York, Los Angeles and London. This groundbreaking venture is set to delight jet-setting canines and their humans alike!

First-Class Canine Comfort

Bark Air has not glossed over a single detail when creating this experience for its furry flyers. Before boarding, furry travellers can socialise with one another in a private lounge, complete with toys and calming aids like lavender-scented towels, setting the tone for a relaxing journey. Once aboard the Gulfstream G5 jet, passengers can roam freely in the dog-centric cabin and enjoy in-flight treats such as ‘doggy champagne’, along with playful treats to nibble on such as a shoe served on a silver platter. Furthermore, the airline’s concierge provides their ‘just in case’ bags, stocked with calming treats, leashes and poop bags for all necessities throughout the journey.

The experience is equally seamless for their humans, with no security lines and gourmet meals provided pre-flight. The Jet is limited to ten dogs per flight, ensuring ample space for both canine and human comfort. Calming pheromones, warm lavender towels and soothing music aim to foster a serene and peaceful ambience, ensuring absolute peace for even the most anxious of flyers.

The Price of Unparalleled Paw-sitivity

Bark Air currently operates routes between New York’s Westchester County Airport, Van Nuys near Los Angeles, and London’s Stansted Airport. Future plans for routes to Paris, Milan and Chicago are currently in the works. Domestic U.S. flights range from £4,000 per dog, with international trips starting at £6,000—both prices include one human ticket, while extra humans can join for an additional fee.

Perhaps a steep price tag, however Bark Air is more than just a mode of transport for our beloved pups. The cost certainly reflects the unparalleled attention to detail: no difficult transportation, under seat carriers or claustrophobic crates are required, trained professionals are on hand throughout each step from lounge to jet to manage any bumps or bites. Upon landing, furry passengers can delight in a complimentary dog-friendly car service within a 30-mile radius, promising care, comfort and effortless travel for all.

From spa treatments to delicious doggy snacks and 24-hour attention, Bark Air stays true to its mission, that under their care, ‘dogs will fly the way they were always meant to’.
