Avianca Airlines has revealed its updated INSIGNIA cabin features, changing business class customers’ experience by enhancing comfort, dining and onboard service. New cabin suites will offer more privacy, arriving in 2027, with advanced entertainment features for Boeing 787 flights that travel to and from Europe and New York.
INSIGNIA business class benefits
The latest generation of INSIGNIA by Avianca Airlines offers business class customers the opportunity to use its updated service on a greater number of flight routes, serving more customers and expanding U.S. connectivity. The updated amenities are included in more than 400 weekly flights to and from America; they are also available for flights to and from locations such as Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, London, and New York.
Benefits to be included on Avianca Airlines Boeing 787 flights when flying INSIGNIA business class are:
- More baggage – customers will be able to bring aboard a personal item, one 10-kilogram carry-on bag and two 32-kilogram bags to put in the aircraft hold
- A VIP lounge to relax in before a flight
- Priority service that includes assistance for checking in and boarding
- Fast-track service that exempts customers from extra wait time
New features inside the aircraft
Onboard complimentary meals are created by Álvaro Clavijo, chef and founder of El Chato in Bogotá. Inspired by Latin America, the recipes deliver a blend of authentic and original flavours along with new tableware design for a unique experience.
More of the new INSIGNIA business class features inside the aircraft will include:
- A brand-new seat that is adjustable and allows customers to lie flat
- Privacy doors
- An amenity kit – made in partnership with Loto del Sur and Mola Sasa, featuring a colourfully patterned design piece that was inspired by Colombia’s biodiversity
- Pyjamas
- Meridian Headphones
Some amenities will be subject to availability depending on the flight route.
