S7 Airlines (the brand of Siberia Airlines) will be offering direct flights from Vladivostok to Taipei starting May 24, 2019.

The flights will be operated on Fridays and will depart from Vladivostok International Airport at 13:55 and arrive in Taipei at 15:45 local time. The return flights will depart at 17:30 and arrive in Vladivostok at 23:15.

The new service will be operated with Airbus A320 aircraft, with an estimated flight time of 3 hours and 50 minutes.

“In the spring there will be a new Asian route added to the S7 Airlines flight map, to Taipei, a rapidly developing metropolis, which is considered the next economic hot spot. The symbol of Taipei is a skyscraper of the same name and at more than half a kilometer high, is one of the tallest buildings on the planet. After enjoying a panoramic view of the city from high up, it is worth going to the vibrant Ximendin quarter with endless cafes, restaurants, and interesting shops, and, of course, you must leave some energy to visit the special nightly local markets,” says Igor Veretennikov, commercial director of the S7 Group.

Flights to Taipei will be of interest not only those Vladivostok passengers going on city vacations, but also for individuals traveling on business to work on development projects with Taiwanese corporations.

S7 Airlines (the brand of Siberia Airlines), founded in 1957, originated from the Tolmachevo United Air Unit. Siberia Airlines has been using the brand name S7 for its flights since 2005.

S7 Airlines has one of the most modern air carrier fleets in the Russian aviation market. The company operates aircraft of the world’s leading manufacturers, such as Airbus (55 aircraft), Boeing (23 aircraft) and Embraer (17 aircraft). The air fleet consists of 92 aircraft.

S7 is a member of the global aviation alliance oneworld, a world leader offering its passengers service of the highest quality. oneworld airlines are based in all the continents and reach destinations in 150 countries of the world.

The airline has a wide network of domestic routes, with their home base at the air transportation hubs in Moscow Domodedovo and Novosibirsk Tolmachevo.

S7 Airlines operates regular flights to the CIS countries, Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and the Asia-Pacific region.

S7 Airlines will be the first company in Russia to operate the newest aircrafts. In 2017, S7 Airlines received the Airbus A320neo. These aircrafts are more environmentally friendly and are recognized to be producing the least noise in their category;

In the fall of 2018, S7 Airlines was the first in Russia to receive the modern midrange airliner Boeing 737 MAX.
