Air India the national airline of India recently collaborated with Indian music sensation, Diljit Dosanjh who is currently on his Dil-Luminati Tour of the country. Having recently completed his European leg of the tour, the music sensation returned to his home country to finish off the tour. The airline revealed a special livery in collaboration with the music artist to celebrate the tour. This is a historic event in the country as it marks the fusion of musical culture into aviation and can be seen as a great initiative by the airline.

More About the Tour

The artist is said to be one of the greatest the country has ever produced, being the only Indian to perform at the Coachella Festival in the United States of America. After accomplishing this, the music sensation went on to bring his Dil-Luminati tour from Canada and the USA to Europe. The tour kicked off in the capital New Delhi on October 26th  and is finishing on the 29th of December in Guwahati. The singer does not just limit himself to music, he is an active actor having acted win Bollywood movies with actors such as Kareena Kapoor and Akshay Kumar as well. It is no surprise that the airline has teamed up with the megastar of India.

The collaboration and its importance to Air India

This is a good initiative by Air India and it is hoped that the partnership will engage a younger audience with the airline. Fans loved the vibrant and bright colours of the livery which the star shared on his Instagram recently. The Engagement with big stars can only be a good addition for the airline, which has recently merged with Vistara Airlines in the TATA takeover. It can be seen that the airline seems to be heading in a very good direction with recently having a fleet refurbishment as well which indicates the proactive effort taken by the company in scaling its business back to being on top.
