Air Europa expands flight route to Geneva, starting June 2026. The airline has introduced two daily flights between Madrid-Barajas Airport and Switzerland, effective June 2026. The airline already operates two daily flights in the country, and this new route is the airline’s second destination in the Swiss city.

New route to Switzerland
Air Europa will expand its route in early summer of 2025, where it will launch a new route that connects the strategic hub of Madrid-Barajas with Geneva, effective June 19, 2026. The route compliments the airline’s services to the country and adds a new destination to its European network. The flight will operate twice per day from Madrid to the Swiss city at 7:55 a.m. and 4:40 p.m. Flights from Geneva will depart at 10:50 a.m. and 7:35 p.m., giving customers the choice of travelling back and forth into the country.
Air Europa already operates flights from Madrid and Zurich, with two daily flights, which, according to the airline, carried nearly a quarter of a million passengers in 2024. The airline stated that the new route to Geneva will offer customers access to more than 260,000 seats annually, confirming the airline’s commitment to the country.
The airline’s Boeing 737-800 fleet operates all flights to Switzerland and will also operate the flight to Geneva. The Boeing 737-800 is a single-aisle aircraft that has high passenger and cargo capacity for short-haul and medium-haul routes. The airline continues to expand its international operations and has plans for a new aircraft in the coming months with sustainability and efficiency in mind.
