Air Canada Vacations is adding Ecuador to its South America portfolio with a new range of guided tours and packages launching for the 2026-27 winter season. The programme includes guided tours, Galápagos cruises and flexible package holidays from Toronto and Montréal.

New tours across Ecuador

The programme will begin operating between December 2026 and March 2027 and includes 11 guided itineraries ranging from eight to 12 days. Tours cover destinations including the Andes Mountains, the Amazon rainforest, the Pacific coast and the Galapagos Islands.

Direct flights from Toronto and Montréal to Quito will be included in selected packages alongside domestic flights and transfers where applicable.

Nina Montagnese, vice president at Air Canada Vacations, said the launch supports the company’s continued expansion across South America:

“With direct flights from Toronto and Montréal and a thoughtfully curated range of guided itineraries, we are making it easier than ever for Canadian travellers to experience Ecuador’s extraordinary landscapes and cultural richness with the confidence and peace of mind that come from a fully guided program.”

Flexible travel options

Alongside guided tours, travellers will be able to book standalone flight and hotel packages to Ecuador, offering more flexibility for independent travel planning.

Departures will operate weekly from Toronto and three times weekly from Montréal. Packages include accommodation, guided services and selected meals depending on the itinerary.

The addition of Ecuador reflects growing demand for South American destinations among Canadian travellers, particularly for nature and ecotourism experiences. Air Canada recently announced developments in routes to Spain and Latin America, continuing to grow its outreach.
