In a significant advancement for long-haul travel, Air Astana has announced the installation of additional fuel tanks on its airbus A321LR aircraft, enabling a non-stop service between Almaty and London. Starting on October 4, 2024 this route which has operated with a technical stop in Aktau since March 2022, will now reduce flight times by 1.5 hours, making the journey 9 hours and 35 min.
