Cebu Pacific returns to Dubai

Cebu Pacific resumed its Manila – Dubai – Manila route on July 2 after temporarily suspending services. The low cost carrier is operating four weekly return flight ever Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

According to the airline, the decision to restart the route followed continued monitoring of the situation and coordination with Dubai airport authorities. Cebu Pacific said it remains committed to reconnecting Filipino travellers in the UAE with the Philippines while continuing to prioritise safety. Travellers also affected by previous cancellations can now rebook their flights.

Philippine Airlines returns later in the year

Philippine Airlines also confirmed it will resume its nonstop Manila – Dubai – Manila service, with flights resuming October 2. The full service carrier will initially operate four weekly services on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

PAL said the route’s return will restore an important connection between the Philippines and Dubai after operations were affected by the regional conflict.

The return of services from both airlines will increase direct connectivity between Manila and Dubai after weeks of disruption. Both airlines said they will continue to monitor developments in the region, with passenger and crew safety remaining the top priority.
