Jet2 has expanded its Jersey operations with weekly flights to Birmingham and Bristol. Starting May 2, 2027, these new operations will more than double its capacity to and from Jersey.

The airline primarily flies from 13 UK bases to popular holiday spots in Spain, Greece, Turkey, and Italy.
The fleet is a mix of short-haul veterans and fuel-efficient jets:

- Airbus A321-200
- Boeing 737-300
- Airbus A330-200
Jet2 has just announced a major expansion of its Jersey programme, including brand-new routes from Birmingham and Bristol for the Summer 2027 season. This expansion doubles the airline’s capacity to the island and increases its UK departure points for Jersey to six airports.

Expanded Jersey Operations
Operations to Birmingham are expected to launch on May 2, 2027, with 3x weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Whereas, operations to Bristol are expected to launch on May 14, 2027, with 2x weekly flights on Mondays and Fridays. A new and exclusive route from Bournemouth is also set to launch on July 25, 2026.
Alongside the new routes, Jet2 is increasing its overall seat capacity to Jersey by over 140% compared to previous years.
Jet2’s Chief Executive, Steve Heapy, stated:
“We are delighted to be significantly expanding ourJersey programme for summer 2027, with a great choice of flights now departing from six UK airports as a result.”
The addition of these airports brings Jet2’s Jersey network to six UK bases, offering more options for weekend breaks or full-week stays. Direct flights from local airports also eliminate the need for long drives to London hubs or Manchester.
