This summer, jetsetters from Ireland will have seven new destinations to choose from as Aer Lingus expands its schedule. This move provides more options for short-haul travel with greater connectivity across Europe.

New Destinations from Dublin and Cork

Notably, passengers can now visit a range of destinations, including Spain, Norway, France and Scotland. The seasonal Cork-Prague route will now operate year-round instead of running only during the peak summer season.

From Dublin, Aer Lingus operated by Emerald Airlines, will also initiate services to Asturias (Spain), Oslo (Norway), Tours (France), Inverness (Scotland), and Montpellier (France).

Two additional routes will operate from Cork to Nice (France) and Santiage de Compostela (Spain).

The seasonal Cork-Prague service will now operate year-round, giving travellers more options beyond the summer months.

Expanded Options for Summer Travellers

The new routes cover a mix of city-break and leisure destinations. While some passengers could opt for coastal regions in northern Spain and southern France, some may prefer cultural hubs such as Oslo and Tours in the Loire Valley.

Aer Lingus Chief Customer Officer, Susanne Carberry, said the expanded network reflects ongoing demand for a range of leisure destinations across Europe:

“Our summer 2026 schedule is our most diverse yet, introducing a carefully curated selection of destinations,”

Aer Lingus also noted its Saver fares, which include a complimentary 10kg checked bag, are intended to provide customers with additional flexibility for planning summer travel.
