United Airlines Spotlights Starlink Partnership in Big Game Ad
United Airlines and Starlink have partnered to roll out high-speed Wi-Fi across more than 300 regional aircraft. They will spotlight this significant partnership milestone in upcoming Big Game advertisements on Feb. 8.
The ad will feature a broadcast film that highlights the onboard services now available to United customers, allowing access to films, sports, series, social media, and more in-flight.
More than 25% of United Airlines’ daily flights feature Starlink Wi-Fi, and the partners expect an additional 500 mainland airlines to be equipped with the service by the end of 2026.
Maggie Schermin, United’s Chief Advertising Officer, celebrates the Big Game Ad and partnership with Starlink:
“Starlink is transforming the in-flight experience on United planes with reliable connectivity that enables everything from productivity to streaming the biggest football game of the season.”

Starlink Services Rollout Across United Airlines
With their recent Starlink rollout across more than 300 regional aircraft, United Airlines’ customer satisfaction ratings have nearly doubled on flights equipped with Starlink’s high-speed connectivity.
The service rollout will accelerate this year, with United seeking out FAA approval for Starlink’s services to be safely installed on a dozen more aircraft models, including Boeing aircraft.
Grant Milstead, United’s Vice President of Digital Technology, shares their installation of Starlink services and future prospects for a larger-scale rollout.
“We’re rolling out Starlink at an unprecedented speed and scale, and our milestone for our regional fleet is just the beginning – with more than 500 mainline aircraft expected to be equipped by the end of 2026. This is all part of our commitment to bring this innovative service to our entire fleet.”
