The Latvian airline, airBaltic, has revealed this winter’s most popular destinations from its home bases in Riga (Latvia), Tallinn (Estonia) and Vilnius (Lithuania).

Flights for the Winter Season
This move from the airline is set to energise the winter tourism season in the Baltic capitals, providing easier access to sunny escapes and cultural hotspots across Europe.
From the airline’s main hub in Riga, this winter’s most popular destinations are Barcelona (Spain), Dubai (United Arab Emirates), London (UK), Munich (Germany), Paris (France), and Prague (Czech Republic). From Tallinn, the top destinations include Amsterdam (the Netherlands), Barcelona, Brussels (Belgium), Copenhagen (Denmark), Munich, and Vilnius. Meanwhile, from Vilnius, passengers are favouring Amsterdam, Dubai, Munich, Paris, Tallinn, and Tenerife (Spain).

With airBaltic’s wide range of winter destinations, the airline has catered to every type of traveller. From warm destinations perfect for escaping the winter, to ski resorts and nature-focused active trips, while also providing numerous city getaway options.
During this winter season, airBaltic is operating over 90 direct routes across all its bases, offering travellers a diverse selection. The airline has also launched four new routes, connecting Riga to Faro (Portugal), Tallinn to Madeira (Portugal), and Gran Canaria (Spain) to both Ljubljana (Slovenia) and Molde (Norway).

More Flight Frequencies
In addition, airBaltic is increasing flight frequencies to Amsterdam from all three Baltic capitals and expanding services to Dubai from Riga and Vilnius, connecting the Baltics with major hubs even more frequently.
The airline has also increased frequencies from Riga to Sharm El-Sheikh and Hurghada (both in Egypt) to three per week and resumed its Riga-Dublin (Ireland) service with two weekly flights. Meanwhile, flights on the Riga-Catania (Italy) route will start earlier than usual, beginning in February.
