Continued Commitment in Nashville

Embraer and Republic Airways have signed an extension of their long-standing maintenance agreement, ensuring continued support for the airline’s fleet of over 240 E170 and E175 jets. The aircraft will be serviced at Embraer’s Services & Support facility in Nashville, Tennessee, where Republic has been conducting heavy maintenance since 2011.

The new deal includes an additional 225 heavy maintenance visits and secures three dedicated maintenance bays for Republic. This will help maintain scheduling flexibility and operational reliability as the airline continues to operate one of the largest Embraer E-Jet fleets in the world.

“We are very excited to extend our relationship with Republic Airways,” said Frank Stevens, Vice President of MRO Services at Embraer, “This renewed agreement reinforces our commitment to delivering high-quality maintenance services. We will continue to prioritise safety and quality for Republic and all our customers across the U.S.”

A Proven Partnership

Over the past decade, Republic Airways has completed more than 650 heavy maintenance visits at the Nashville facility, logging over 3.3 million labor hours. Embraer also supports the airline with component services and AOG (Aircraft on Ground) repair capabilities, helping ensure fleet readiness and minimal operational disruption.

The continued collaboration reflects the strong operational synergy between the two companies and underscores the importance of long-term MRO agreements in sustaining large regional fleets.

Supporting One of the U.S.’s Busiest Regional Carriers

Republic Airways, founded in 1974, operates nearly 1,000 daily flights to more than 80 destinations in the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean, and Central America. Flying under the American Eagle, Delta Connection, and United Express banners, Republic is a critical regional partner for major U.S. carriers.

With a fleet composed entirely of Embraer E170 and E175 aircraft, dependable maintenance support is essential. This extended partnership ensures Republic’s fleet remains reliable and efficient, supporting high-frequency operations across North America. Read more about Embraer HERE.
