Cathay and Uber Taxi Partnership To Turn Rides Into Rewards

Cathay and Uber Taxi have announced their recent partnership which will allow customers to turn their Hong Kong Uber taxi rides into rewards for the skies.

Cathay and Uber Taxi Partner for Rewards

Daily journey’s will be rewarded- including to and from the airport – with ‘Asia Miles’ to use as rewards for your next trip. Uber Taxi Rides can earn up to 20 Asia Miles for every uber trip taken in Hong Kong.

Airport trips can earn passengers up to 40 Asia Miles, and first-time users will receive a welcome bonus of 500 extra Asia Mile points for their first Uber Taxi ride.

“This collaboration gives our members even more ways to earn Asia Miles in their everyday lives, Uber Taxi trips now help our members get closer to their next adventure with added convenience and rewards,” shares Flora Hui, general manager Asia Miles at Cathay.

Uber Taxi App for Cathay Rewards

Customers will be able to link their Cathay membership via the Uber Rides app in order to earn Asia Miles and receive points off their next travel.

Uber Taxi have shared that bonus roll-outs and limited-time benefits and deals will be available via the app, allowing passengers even more ways to earn points.

From daily commutes to airport trips, this partnership brings ground and air travel closer together, offering our riders a seamless way to earn miles” shares General Manager of Uber Hong Kong, Estyn Chung.
