Wizz Air has announced an important update to its partnership with Booking.com, effective 1 October. The cash back previously available to all customers booking accommodation through Booking.com will become an exclusive benefit for WIZZ Discount Club members. Along with this change, cash back rates are increasing for members, offering more value depending on your membership tier.

Earn Up to 10% Back on Your Stays

From 1 October, WIZZ Discount Club members will benefit from improved WIZZ Credit returns when booking hotels via the designated Booking.com link through Wizz Air:

  • Standard members will now receive 7% WIZZ Credit back.

  • Premium members will enjoy an upgraded rate of 10% WIZZ Credit back.

This credit is added to your WIZZ account after your stay is completed and can be used to pay for future Wizz Air flights or travel extras. Non-members will no longer receive cash back on accommodation, even if they book through Booking.com via Wizz Air channels. It’s important to note that cash back applies only when using the Wizz Air-specific Booking.com link — direct bookings on Booking.com do not qualify.

Final Thoughts

This update offers increased benefits for those already in the WIZZ Discount Club and may be an incentive for frequent Wizz Air passengers to consider joining. However, casual travellers who rarely fly or book accommodation through Booking.com should evaluate whether the membership cost offers a worthwhile return based on their travel patterns.
