Jet2 Expands Greek Destinations with Bristol Airport

The launch of two stunning holiday destinations with Jet2’s expansion has been announced for the summer 2026 season, which will depart on a weekly schedule from Bristol Airport, allowing holiday-makers from the South-west region to enjoy more choices for their summer travels.

Olympus Riviera will be accessible via direct flights to Thessaloniki airport on a weekly Tuesday schedule between May. 2026 and Oct. 2026. Hotel transfers in package bookings will be available with Jet2.

Meganisi will depart on a weekly Sunday schedule (increasing to a twice-weekly service on Tuesdays and Sundays from late May 2026) to Preveza Airport.

CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2 Holidays, Steve Heapy, said:

“We are delighted to be launching two brand-new destinations today from Bristol Airport and expanding our Greek programme for Summer 26. The launch of these new destinations is fantastic news for customers and independent travel agents and comes in direct response to the demand we are seeing for holidays to Greece next summer. Greece continues to be a summer sunshine favourite, so we are adding even more choice thanks to the introduction of getaways to the Olympus Riviera and Meganisi.”

‘Summer Sunshine Favourites’

With Jet2’s expansion, holiday-makers will have the convenient choice of a selection between 3 and 4-star hotels located in Vathay, a beautiful, unspoiled town in the hidden gem of the Ionian Islands.

Resorts in the beautiful landscapes of Olympus Rivier, including Litochoro Plaka, Platamonas, Katerini Paralia, Neoi Poroi and Olympiaki Akti, are on sale with Jet2, ranging from 3-5 stars with either all-inclusive or bed and breakfast boarding.

Commercial Director at Bristol Airport, Rupert Lawrie. said:

“Connecting these wonderful two new destinations from near-by Airports means even more choice for holidaymakers across the South West and Wales, whether it’s exploring the stunning landscapes of the Olympus Riviera or soaking up the relaxed charm of Meganisi. We look forward to continuing our fantastic partnership with Jet2.com and Jet2holidays as they keep growing their network from Bristol.”
