What Goes Into a Skytrax Award? Here’s How the Winning Airlines Are Chosen

Often referred to as the ‘Oscars of the Aviation Industry,’ the Skytrax World Airline Awards are the most prestigious accolades for airlines worldwide and serve as a global benchmark of excellence.

The winners are determined by the votes of passengers. Skytrax gathers responses through a comprehensive passenger satisfaction survey on topics including boarding assistance, cabin cleanliness, baggage delivery, and value for money. Any airline in the world can be nominated for the awards, and airlines do not pay any charges for consideration. Passengers participate in the survey voluntarily, reflecting their personal preferences and experiences.

Have you ever flown with any of the top 5 low-cost airlines? Do you agree with the awards? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
