A DHC-6 Twin Otter skydiving aircraft crashed on Sunday Afternoon in Coffee County, Tennessee with 20 people onboard. Details of the crash are still emerging as officials continue investigating.
Coffee County Crash
The Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) confirmed the plane departed Tullahoma Regional Airport in Tennessee around 12:45pm on Sunday. The aircraft crashed on Old Shelbyville Road, as reported by the Tennessee Highway Patrol. Though the current condition of the victims has not been reported, it has been released that those injured were airlifted to local hospitals.
Lyle Russel, a City of Tullahoma spokesperson reported no fatalities but two victims have been seriously injured. Russel continues on to state:
“The scene is being secured by local authorities while FAA officials are en route to continue the investigation.”

Typically seating up to 19 passengers the aircraft is ideal for commuter services and cargo transport.
