Finnair Boosts Flights to Finnish Lapland

Leading Nordic airline Finnair has released its ground-breaking schedule for this winter as it boasts competitive connectivity across Finland. The airline is meeting the increased demand for travel to Nordic nations with it becoming a hotspot (more accurately a cold-spot) for British and Irish travellers. Whether it’s arctic adventures or unparalleled views of the Northern lights this winter wonderland has it all. Finnair are offering 179 weekly flights between Helsinki and Northern Finland – a record capacity in the airlines 102 year history. Providing customers with an avalanche of flights including 16 daily flights on Saturdays. The airline is also boosting flights to Kittila for those looking to hit the slopes at Levi and Yllas.

The Beauty of Finland

Finland is the perfect getaway for those who prefer a colder climate or to add a hint of Christmas into the coming months. As the demand for travel has continued to grow over the past years Finnair is aiming to coincide their flights with weekend travel patterns and accommodation changeover days to make travelling that little bit easier. There is something for everyone in Finland – arctic landscapes, sleds led by snow dogs, or relaxing by a fire in a log cabin as you gaze over the expansive winter beauty. Finland is quickly becoming a European bucket-list destination.

Smooth Flights Across the Nordic Region

As the only major airline to fly to Lapland year round it seems Finland is not just for Christmas. One-way flights start at just £127 and are specifically timed to allow for easy connections from top UK airports including London Heathrow, Manchester, and Dublin. With 14 destinations in Finland and 25 in the wider Nordic Regions Finnair can offer easy flying and views you can’t find anywhere else.
