Today it was announced carrier Air Baltic (Based in Latvia), has placed an order for a further 60 Bombardier CS300 aircraft. Air Baltic has placed a firm order of 30 aircraft with options for the other 30. If this order goes ahead, it will add to the existing order of 20 CS300 aircraft, of which eight have already been delivered to the airline.

In September 2017, Air Baltic said that it is looking for aircraft to replace its aging Bombardier Dash 8 and Boeing 737 classic fleet and stated that the carrier will likely ‘buy at least 14’ additional Bombardier CSeries, until the end of 2018 as it aims to retire it’s old fleet within the next three years.
