Air Canada announces the increase of flights connecting Dublin to British Columbia this summer in response to the pause in the Dublin Airport passenger cap. This new flight schedule will increase connectivity between the cities as well as flexibility and choices for Irish travellers.

Higher Connectivity and Increased Flexibility

The airline recently announced a change in its flight operating schedule between Ireland and British Columbia. The flights connecting Dublin and British Columbia would increase from 3 to 5 from this summer with extended operating seasons. Apart from increased flight frequency from Dublin to Vancouver and Toronto, the airline also offers connecting flights to other popular tourist destinations such as Victoria and Kamloops. Return fares from Dublin to Vancouver start from €665 (£551 approx.) subject to taxes and changes.

Air Canada: Great Potential in Expanding Irish Market

Air Canada is the only carrier that connects Ireland to British Columbia at the moment.

Bláithín O’Donnell, the airline’s Sales Manager of Ireland, sees immense potential in growing the Irish market, and is keen to bring Irish travellers to Canada, the U.S. and more destinations.

“The additional flights for 2025 highlight Air Canada’s impressive growth in the Irish market when compared to 2024 capacities, showing approximately 17% growth year on year.”

This high connectivity is paired with excellent service on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, with high-quality service and in-flight entertainment. Their dedication to inspiring causes shows care and devotion to securing regional markets and international connectivity.
