Avianca Cargo successfully concluded its Valentine’s Day season with record-breaking flower shipments from Colombia to the U.S. The airline operated approximately 300 cargo flights, transporting around 18,000 tons of flowers to key hubs, including Miami and Los Angeles. For the first time, Avianca Cargo secured the No.1 position in flower transportation to Los Angeles, reinforcing its leadership in the U.S. market.

Meeting High Demand with Increased Capacity
Avianca Cargo increased seasonal capacity by two times, given the high demand for flower shipments, ensuring efficiency, good service, and on-time deliveries. However, infrastructure improvements, digitisation projects, and a 30% increase in the workforce all helped the airline to handle seamless operations.

Fleet Expansion & Future Growth
Avianca Cargo is set to expand its fleet in 2025 with two additional Airbus A330 P2F aircraft, enhancing capacity and efficiency for high-demand markets.
