Middle Eastern airline Qatar Airways has proudly announced that flights to and from Syria will resume from January 2025. This recent development will ensure that Syria is once again a part of the airline’s 170-plus network of locations.

A Reconnection with a Variety of Positives

Qatar Airways is dedicated to ensuring that meeting its customers’ demands and maintaining connections between destinations is strongly encouraged. Syria joining this airline’s network of locations again means an increase in travellers looking to explore destinations worldwide.

Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, the Group Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Airways, had this to say:

“We are pleased to resume flights to Damascus, a destination of great historical and cultural importance. This announcement underscores our dedication to fostering connectivity and facilitating travel for our passengers.”

Providing Exceptional Service, Safety and Standards

Travellers looking to fly with Qatar Airways from Syria can do so from its capital, Damascus. Flights from this capital city to Hamad International Airport will be made available, where its profound world-class service is provided for all travellers. This is made possible with the support of the airline’s Doha hub.

Safety and security remain vital to this airline, and it will ensure this is the case before and during its Syria-based flights.
