Air Canada unveiled its largest-ever transborder schedule from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) for summer 2025. The plan introduces new routes to Tampa, Raleigh, and Nashville, along with increased capacity to Austin, Denver, and Miami. In partnership with  United Airlines, the carrier will operate 58 daily non-stop flights to 21 U.S. destinations, marking an 11% seat capacity boost over the summer of 2024.

However, the summer schedule adds new non-stop services. Raleigh flights operate thrice weekly, Tampa twice weekly, and Nashville four times weekly. Additionally, increased capacity includes Austin (five weekly flights), Denver (twice daily), and Miami (four weekly flights). In fact, these changes aim to serve both Canadian and U.S. travellers better while connecting YVR to growing U.S. cities.

In a statement, Mark Galardo, Executive Vice President at Air Canada, said the expansion reinforces the airline’s position as the leading carrier between Canada and the U.S.

“Our network strengthens Western Canada’s access to vibrant U.S. cities while offering Americans a gateway to British Columbia.”

Furthermore, according to the same statement, YVR President Tamara Vrooman highlighted the importance of the new routes, mentioning:

Travellers’ Convenience

Air Canada has timed transborder flights to connect seamlessly with its international network. Passengers returning to the U.S. benefit from pre-clearance at YVR, saving time on arrival.

Above all, the new schedule brings Air Canada’s total YVR-U.S. offerings to 7,700 daily seats. Routes serve key markets such as Los Angeles (five daily flights), San Francisco (four daily flights), and Las Vegas (two daily flights).

In summary, tickets for the expanded summer 2025 schedule are now available through Air Canada’s website.
