Business Class is also available on Boeing 787 aircraft on select routes between Bogotá and New York (JFK), Miami, São Paulo, Buenos Aires, and Santiago de Chile.

Avianca operates a fleet of over 130 aircraft, serving more than 75 destinations throughout Colombia, Latin America and Europe.

What Does the New Business Class Offer?

Passengers flying Business Class will enjoy seats located within the first three rows of the aircraft, offering greater recline, more space, adjustable headrests, charging ports and other comfort features.

The service also includes complimentary meals, beverages and access to Avianca’s onboard entertainment system, Avianca On Air, which is accessible from passengers’ personal devices.

Catalina Nannig, Avianca’s Vice President of Sales said:

“The expansion of Business Class availability across the Americas strengthens the positioning of this experience, which is built on a commitment to delivering high-quality service in every detail, offering exceptional journeys.”

In addition, passengers will benefit from tailored baggage allowances, priority services (check-in, boarding and baggage handling), access to Avianca lounges (including Star Alliance partner lounges) and the ability to accumulate LifeMiles (7 miles per dollar spent). Flight changes and refunds will be available before departure.

It was also announced that renowned Colombian chef Álvaro Clavij has created the menu on most flights departing from Bogotá.
