Aerounion A300 Nosewheel Collaspes

Earlier today, authorities at Mexico City International Airport, located in Mexico City- the capital of Mexico, confirmed that the nosewheel of an Aerounion A300 freighter aircraft had collapsed.

The operator, a Mexican carrier Aerounion, was towing the Airbus A300 (Registered XA-MRC) equipped with CF6 engines, to the airline hangar near Taxiway E2 when the nose wheel collapsed causing airport fire and emergency services to attend the scene. The aircraft is 35.2 years old, having joined the carrier in 2010.

The incident occurred at Mexico City International Airport located in the country’s capital

Aerounion have confirmed that there are no damage to the aircraft or injuries. We will keep you updated on the aircraft. Normal operations at Mexico City Airport have resumed as normal.
