The Geneva Airport (GVA) has announced a partnership with travel technology company Smartvel to deploy Explore&Go on June 2, 2026. The digital platform will be integrated into the airport’s online channels to provide destination discovery and travel information for passengers.

New Travel Platform
The initiative will integrate Explore&Go’s destination content, route discovery tools and live pricing information across Geneva Airport’s digital channels. Travellers will be able to explore destinations, identify available routes and access fare information through the airport’s website and related digital platforms.
The launch follows Geneva Airport’s recent website redesign, which introduced personalised passenger services, real-time information and additional travel planning features.
Explore&Go combines travel content with booking and route data, allowing users to search for destinations based on interests, travel themes, seasonality and route availability. The platform also includes live flight pricing and connectivity information.
According to Smartvel, the platform is intended to help travellers access destination information and route options within a single digital environment.
Iñigo Valenzuela, CEO of Smartvel, said airports are increasingly incorporating travel planning and destination discovery tools into their digital services.
“With Explore&Go, Geneva Airport is creating a more engaging and connected digital experience that helps passengers discover routes and destinations more intuitively,” he said.
Gary Lenzoni, web manager at Geneva Airport, said the airport aims to provide passengers with additional planning resources during the early stages of travel.
“By partnering with Smartvel and implementing Explore&Go, we can offer travellers more dynamic destination discovery tools, route visibility and pricing information directly through our channels,” he said.

Network and Digital Strategy
Explore&Go combines destination-focused content with operational and commercial travel data. The platform allows airports and travel brands to present destinations based on traveller preferences, events, seasonal demand and airline connectivity while displaying current fare information.
The partnership comes as Geneva Airport continues to expand its route network, with more than 120 direct destinations served by nearly 50 airlines during the 2026 summer season.
Founded in Madrid in 2012, Smartvel develops travel content solutions for airlines, airports, hotels, tourism organisations and travel brands. The company uses artificial intelligence, real-time data integration and destination data to provide travel-related content and information services.
The agreement reflects the broader use of digital passenger engagement tools by airports seeking to provide travel information and planning services through their own digital channels.
