Turkish Airlines Carried 7.6 million Passengers in January 2026

Turkish Airlines has today announced its passenger and cargo travel results for January 2026. Reporting continued growth across both passenger and cargo travel, the airline carried 7.6 million passengers and 178.3 thousand tons of cargo and mail last month.

January 2026 Traffic Results

The 7.6 million passengers represented an international load factor of 83.7% and domestic load factor of 87.5%. The number of international-to-international passengers grew from 2.8 million in 2025, to 3.1 million in this period, an increase of 10.8%.

Available seat kilometres (ASK) saw growth of 10%, from 21.5 billion in January 2025 to 23.7 billion last month.

Also showing an increase, the airline reported growth of 18.8% in cargo/mail carried from January 2025, with 178.3 thousand tons transported in January 2026.

As of the end of January 2026, Turkish Airlines has a fleet of 522 aircraft.

The results reported today consolidate figures from Turkish Airlines’ main brand and AJet, its wholly-owned subsidiary.
