RwandAir has expanded their fleet with the introduction of two new Boeing 737-800s. The welcoming of these aircraft indicates a step forward in RwandAir’s aims to modernise and grow – with boosted operations, increased capacity, and global connectivity.
RwandAir Expands Fleet
RwandAir has welcomed two new Boeing 737-800s, expanding their fleet. The Boeing 787-800s will primarily operate on short- and medium-haul routes, carrying 174 passengers. With one already in use, this development boosts the airline’s capacity and strengthens operations.
A wide-body Airbus A330-200 is expected to be delivered in Q4 of this year alongside the return of some newly serviced aircraft. These additions will further increase capacity with a focus on long-haul flights, demonstrating RwandAir’s active efforts to modernise their fleet and grow their global network. Alongside connecting Africa to the rest of the world, the expansion of RwandAir’s fleet will also improve customer experience with the reduction of delays and cancellations.
