Shelly Parker named Head Of Hawai’i Guest Operations for Two Airlines

Shelly Parker, aviation veteran for over 40 years, has been announced as the new Head of Hawai’i Guest Operations for Alaska Air Group including Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines. She has also been appointed as a member of the company’s Honolulu leadership team.

Shelly Parker as Head of Hawai’i Guest Operations

Alaska Air Group has appointed Shelly Parker for their Head of Hawai’i Guest Operations, which will see her working closely with Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines. With 43 years of industry experience, Parker will work closely with the team at Hawai’i based airport, and amongst in-flight experiences to improve customer satisfaction and make travel pleasurable for all passengers.

Previously Horizon Air’s Vice President of Station Operations, she will also work with the Honolulu leadership team at Alaska Air Group and provide excellent guest experience with her 43 years of experience as an aviation veteran in the industry.

With her executive Master’s in Business Administration and Management from the University of Washington’s Michael G. Foster School of Business, Shelly Parker has continued to apply her knowledge in various roles within Alaska Air Group including maintenance, engineering, cargo, inflight and more.

Head of Hawai’i Operations

Alongside Parker’s new appointing, Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines will see Jim Landers as the new Head Of Hawai’i Operations.

“Our Honolulu leadership team is looking forward to welcoming Shelly onboard at this exciting time for Hawaiian Airlines.” Shares Jim Landers.

With this recent addition to the team at Alaska Air Group, significant improvements are expected to be underway.
