Supporting Local Initiatives

Air France shares its dedication to the community and their commitment to social responsibilities to help local initiatives by supporting three community-based projects with its subsidiary, SODESI.

The three projects selected for revitalisation and development are: ARES association, Cinécubateur, and La Boulangerie Rouget.

Air France supports three local projects

Local initiatives that support employment development are at the heart of Air France and SODESI’s mission, with three projects funded to help revitalise local job opportunities.

ARES association is one of the three projects that are being supported by the partnered companies. ARES association works to support migrants and refugees in making personalised training and support available to vulnerable groups. Language training will be accessible to 330 people from migrant and refugee backgrounds in the Roissy-Charles de Gaulle and Orly Airports.

Sophie Millet, Director of Professional Integration Programs, ARES+, said:

“This valuable help enables us to guide more beneficiaries towards lasting employment.”

The Cinécubateur program is another local initiative which Air France supports and helps local talent in surrounding neighbourhoods to enter the film industry. They offer young people in high-priority urban areas the chance for professional development in scriptwriting and dedicated, personalised guidance in producing their first films.

Thibault Abraham, Head of Training at Cinécubateur, celebrates the ongoing support from the partnership companies.

“Without the involvement and support of Air France and SODESI, the Cinécubateur adventure would never have come to life.”

The final project being supported by the partnered companies is La Boulangerie Rouget, an artisanal bakery business creating over 60 jobs in production and sales in its new third outlet, “This grant was crucial to the success of our project,” said Jacques-Edouard Duffour, Manager at Boulangerie Rouget

With its continued efforts to support more than 550,000 indirect jobs in France in its role as a major economic driver in the Île-de-France region, they celebrate their ongoing dedication to supporting talents from all backgrounds to revitalise employment in France.
