Expanding Air Canada’s PR Strategy and Brand Awareness in Global Markets

The announcement follows The PC Agency’s global expansion, which has further cemented its position as one of the leading public relations and trade marketing agencies in the airline, luxury hotel, tourist board, and cruise operator sectors. With this global presence continuing to grow, the agency is now well-placed to raise Air Canada’s profile across its transatlantic and intercontinental routes.

Air Canada currently operates more than 350 modern aircraft and offers nonstop service on six continents. With three principal hubs, specifically Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver, it smoothly connects to more than 190 destinations in 58 nations. Its transatlantic system helps link European travellers to major Canadian cities, enabling easier accessibility to worldwide destinations.

Airline Industry PR Through Strategic Partnerships

As part of the new partnership, The PC Agency will focus on Air Canada’s premium offerings, its expanded summer 2025 schedule, and the latest customer experience improvements. The airline provides extensive global connectivity to major markets including the United States, the Caribbean, South America, and Mexico. Additionally, customers transiting through the United States via Canada enjoy the preclearance advantage at Canadian airports, expediting their entry to the U.S.

In the statement to Travel Radar, Paul Charles, founder and CEO of The PC Agency, stated:

“Air Canada is one of the most renowned airlines in the world, with a rich history of over 85 years of transatlantic service and numerous industry accolades. As 2025 marks a transformative year for the airline, we look forward to amplifying its superior offerings and strengthening brand recognition across these key regions.”

At the same time Margaret Skinner, Air Canada’s senior director of sales for EMEA and India, emphasised the airline’s ambitious expansion:

“Our summer 2025 schedule introduces exciting new routes to Naples and Porto, along with increased capacity on existing routes. Partnering with The PC Agency will help elevate our profile in these regions and showcase our award-winning service. With one of our busiest summer schedules ahead, Air Canada is committed to providing seamless travel experiences for our loyal customers.”

The airline’s upcoming summer schedule will offer more than 100,000 weekly seats from 30 destinations across Europe and North Africa. It includes the launch of new routes from Naples and Porto to Montreal, expanded service on existing routes, and the relaunch of flights from London Heathrow to Ottawa and from Prague to Toronto.

As Air Canada expands its transatlantic operations, The PC Agency’s expertise in luxury travel communications will play a crucial role in strengthening the airline’s market presence and engagement in key regions.
