Emirates is kicking off the new year with an earlier-than-expected deployment of its new Airbus A350-900 aircraft. The airline’s A350 operations to Kuwait and Bahrain have now been fast-tracked to begin January 8. These Gulf destinations will become the second and third cities to welcome Emirates’ newest addition to its fleet.

Expansion of A350 Operations

At the end of 2024, Emirates experienced a delayed delivery of their first Airbus A350-900. In the new year, Emirates’ acceleration of operations reflects the airline’s eager resolve to expand services. With the first A350 commercial flight set to take-off for Edinburgh on January 3, Kuwait and Bahrain will welcome services shortly after on January 8. In expediting the introduction of its A350 flights to Kuwait and Bahrain, Emirates is promoting its fleet expansion and introducing passengers to an enhanced travel experience.

While increasing connectivity across these key Middle Eastern destinations, Emirates is also cutting down on fuel consumption and carbon emissions. The Airbus A350 is widely recognised in the aviation industry as a more modern and fuel-efficient aircraft. The A350 answers an ever-growing demand for passenger comfort and more eco-conscious air travel. Emirates’ early deployment of the A350 on routes to Kuwait and Bahrain is meeting this demand and providing travellers with an enhanced passenger experience in the process.

New Year, New Fleet

The introduction of the A350 on these routes marks a significant upgrade in Emirates’ service offering. With advanced aerodynamics, improved cabin spaces and new inflight entertainment systems, the A350 prioritises a smooth journey. The A350 features a three-class configuration with a total of 312 seats. Kuwait, which Emirates has served since 1989, will become the second destination to feature Emirates’ Premium Economy cabin. Newly configured Business Class seats will also be available on both routes.

As Emirates continues to expand its A350 operations, passengers travelling between Dubai and these Gulf destinations can look forward to an elevated flying experience. In 2025, we can expect the UAE carrier’s operations to combine the latest in aviation technology with Emirates’ renowned service standards.

What do you think of Emirates’ A350 services? Will they see success in the new year? Let us know in the comments.
