Christmas Treats at the Lounges

As part of the airline’s Christmas Celebration 2024, long-haul passengers can explore British Christmas traditions by discovering British brands like Harry Specter’s chocolates and Biscuiteers’ hand-piped baked goods. This holiday season British Airways’ Concorde Room is also adding festive flair with exclusive Scotch whisky tastings and a gift-wrapping station featuring snowflake-themed paper. Meanwhile, guests can treat themselves to winter-inspired lounge menus, offering treats like mince pies and brie and cranberry sandwiches, perfectly paired with a signature Christmas cocktail.

Onboard Festivities

British Airways’ holiday menu includes plenty of traditional dinners and treats. Passengers on long-haul flights may savour traditional turkey, complete with Brussels sprouts and pigs in blankets alongside festive drinks such as Twinings Christmas tea and BrewDog Hoppy Christmas IPA.

Club World passengers can enjoy afternoon tea, while First Class travellers will receive Alice Temperley-designed amenity kits and hand-painted baubles, commemorating 100 years of flights to India.

On short-haul flights, passengers can indulge in holiday-inspired treats from the High Life Café including Tom Kerridge’s turkey feast sandwich and Jolly Hog’s “pigs in blankets” roll.

Festive menus will also be available on selected routes in Club Europe.

The airline also generously extends its holiday celebration to charities, sponsoring creative projects such as the Royal Albert Hall’s “Christmas at the Hall” carol concerts. The money raised goes to the Alzheimer’s Society and the venue’s well-being programmes. Additionally, the airline welcomed the Alzheimer’s Society choir to sing at its Christmas lights-on event at Heathrow Terminal 5.

Calum Laming, British Airways’ Chief Customer Officer, said:

“We’ve pulled out all the stops to create a truly British Original Christmas. Wherever you’re traveling, we hope our festive touches bring joy this season.”

From festive menus to charitable partnerships, British Airways Christmas Celebration 2024 ensures the holiday season is memorable for every passenger.
