Etihad Airways is set to introduce two daily flights between Abu Dhabi and Paris. With morning and evening flights planned daily, the new itinerary will accommodate both tourism and business needs.

Return of the Iconic Airbus A380

The scheduled flights will see the return of the renowned Airbus A380 from 1 November 2024, followed by the introduction of the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner when the second flights take off on 15 January 2025.

The Airbus A380 boasts the world’s only three-room suite in the sky, The Residence, as well as First Apartments and Business Studios.

Those travelling onboard the Boeing 787-9 will also take advantage of Etihad’s acclaimed three-class service, with First, Business and Economy cabins available.

Etihad Airways is the national airline of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). While Dubai may be more renowned for tourism, this latest move reinforces the commitment to make Abu Dhabi a hub for global travel.

Arik De, Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer of Etihad Airways, said:

“This increase in frequency reflects the strong demand for travel between Abu Dhabi and Paris, and further cements Abu Dhabi’s position as a key gateway to the world. Whether our guests are flying for business, leisure, or to explore the rich culture of both cities, Etihad’s double daily flights will ensure that their journey is as seamless and enjoyable as possible.”

Certified as a 4-star airline by Skytrax, it currently flies to over 75 destinations in over 40 countries. Along with double daily flights to Paris, 2025 will also bring twice-daily flights from Abu Dhabi to several other major European cities, including Milan, Rome, Manchester, Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich, Barcelona, and Madrid. It will also increase seasonal flights to Malaga to five times per week.

The latest expansion of Etihad’s itinerary shows a dedication to drive both business and tourism to Abu Dhabi. Twice-daily flights to several European cities means that travel becomes seamless and more accessible to passengers across the world. Along with increased availability, travellers will also experience pioneering in-cabin facilities designed to make their journey as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
