A woman has been reported dead after suffering a cardiac arrest aboard a United Airlines flight. The woman, travelling from Houston to London went into cardiac arrest mid-air. This isn’t the first time there has been a report of a passenger being unwell mid-air.
According to a statement by a London Ambulance Service spokesperson;
“We were called at 6:33 a.m. today to report a passenger having suffered a cardiac arrest on board a flight due to arrive at Heathrow Airport Terminal 2.”
“We sent two cycle paramedics and an incident response officer. Sadly, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.”

The woman, who has yet to be identified, was aboard United Airlines flight 880, which took off at 4:30 p.m Tuesday in Houston and landed at 7:40 p.m local time, according to flight-tracking data was met by emergency healthcare professionals when the plane landed at Heathrow Airport.
United Airlines has since conveyed its condolences in a statement released to the media by its rep.
“A customer onboard United flight 880 today, from Houston to London Heathrow, experienced a medical emergency on board.”
“Medical personnel met the aircraft on arrival at London Heathrow. We extend our deepest condolences to the customer’s family and loved ones.”
